Introducing a visual identity for ‘AUMMA’, an architecture and urban planning agency created by Théo Faucheux & Thomas. The identity is based on a play with simple geometric forms, following principles of construction as well as facade – a toolbox of shapes is used to create new combinations. The monogram evokes the union between two entities: architecture and urban planning, urban and rural, as well as the partnership between the agency's two founders.

Introducing a visual identity for Giboulé de Marx, a drag artist who describes themselves as: “Drag of Degrowth, Creature of Inflation.” Giboulé de Marx is also a queer and anti-capitalist zine — a joyful and subversive attempt to reinterpret economics and its systems through the lens of diverse experiences, queer lives, and sexuality.

Introducing a title sequence and posters for ‘Young Hot Bloods’, an enthralling period drama that draws inspiration from the Suffragette movement and centers around a women's jiu-jitsu self-defense group formed to counter police violence. Directed by the visionary Jade Ang Jackman and produced by the esteemed Lammas Park Productions, this film weaves together history, resilience, and empowerment in a powerful narrative.

The logotype and monogram play with Asian-inspired shapes, reflecting Jade's & Ayesha's heritages, as well as the Asian action film culture.

Introducing a visual identity, a bespoke typeface and an e-commerce platform for the young Parisian fashion brand ‘Untitled 19,’ brought to life by the creative minds of François Joos & Pascal Humbert. The brand showcases two distinct yet complementary lines: ‘Atelier,’ an experimental and limited-edition approach that pushes the boundaries of fashion, and ‘Panoplie,’ offering instinctive and singular wardrobes produced in limited series in the heart of Paris.

Introducing ‘Farang,’ an ongoing type design project that freely interprets the Thai writing system through the prism of Muay Thai, the traditional Thai boxing and combat sport. Viewed from a foreigner's perspective (‘Farang’ in Thai), the typeface explores two formal ideas: tradition and modernity. It reflects the heritage of an ancestral art, its diffusion, and its international success.

Introducing ‘I AM,’ a project that explores the enduring fascination with heroes through the lens of contemporary films. Drawing inspiration from Joseph Campbell's ‘The Hero with a Thousand Faces’ (1949), this graphic novel depicts the shared destinies of modern film heroes. Through intertwined compositions of image and text, ‘I AM’ follows a narrative structure inspired by Campbell's ‘Monomyth’, revealing a common pattern of choices, trials, and challenges in these heroic journeys across recent decades.

I'm Théo Marielle, a French graphic designer, image maker, and type designer, with an approach at the intersection of identity, storytelling, and language. From the detail of a letter to the grain of an image, I develop generous, modular graphic systems and bold visual solutions, spanning from printed matter to digital artifacts.
I'm currently based in Lyon, France, and working worldwide. Since 2023, I have been teaching several design courses–including art direction and brand design classes–at STRATE, School of Design (Lyon).
